Villainess: Reverie
Kasdeya, the vengeful void witch, infiltrates the royal court to search for the god-killer weapon in order to use it to rip her fallen friend from the Underworld.
Under the Shadow Master's command Kasdeya follows the lead she discovered in the Libitiani base. She's assigned to be a spy, her friend Narkissa a seductress, but due to Narkissa's pleas, they switch roles. Entering the royal court, Kasdeya is introduced to Reverie, a group of misfits who entertain the nobles, led by Jester, who is in command of the mission and vehemently denies ever knowing her. Kasdeya plans to seduce the king who collects snake women heads.
A strangely familiar scholar yields to her charms. The prophecy echoes her name, the witches are waiting. She must uncover the weapon before her once rival now enemy, or her controlling master, whilst not drowning in her suppressed and conflicting feelings for either of them.
Will Kasdeya complete her tasks, whilst keeping her heart ice cold and her head on her shoulders?
